Privacy Policy

Calculator Street (CalculatorSt.com) is a static, privacy-friendly site. All calculator computations happen 100% in your browser (client-side JavaScript). We do not have a database, user accounts, or server-side calculation. No input values you type into calculators are sent to a server.

1. Information we collect

We intentionally collect minimal data:

  • Calculator inputs: Stay on your device. We never log, store, or transmit the dimensions, materials, or costs you enter.
  • Standard anonymous analytics (if you consent): Page views, device type, approximate location (country-level), and referrer. No personal identifiers, no IP stored by us directly. We use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager only after you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. You can decline and still use all calculators.
  • Log data via Cloudflare: As a site on Cloudflare Workers, basic request logs (URL, timestamp, user-agent) may be processed by Cloudflare for security and performance (see Cloudflare Privacy Policy). We do not use these logs to identify you.
  • Contact emails: If you email us at hello@calculatorst.com, we retain your email and message to respond. We do not sell or share this.

2. How we use information

We use anonymous analytics only to understand which calculators are helpful, fix errors, and improve wording, formulas, and examples. We do not create profiles, sell data, or track you across sites. Calculation help is provided without requiring any login.

3. Cookies & Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to show ads and fund free calculators. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites.

When you visit, Google and its partners may set cookies for:

  • Ad delivery and frequency capping
  • Personalized vs non-personalized ads (based on your consent)
  • Measurement and fraud prevention

We implement Google Consent Mode v2: by default ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization are denied. Only after you click "Accept" do we set them to granted and load pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js. If you click "Decline", we keep them denied and do not load AdSense.

You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings. See Google’s ad policy and How Google uses cookies for details. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings. We do not use cookies to collect personal data via calculators.

Our ads.txt at /ads.txt lists google.com, pub-3234603610000879, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0 as the authorized seller.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share only with service providers necessary to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting/security) and Google (AdSense/Analytics, only after consent). Both act under their own privacy policies and our instructions.

5. Data retention

Calculator inputs are not retained. Analytics data, if consented, is retained per GA4 settings (default 14 months, aggregated). Contact emails are retained until your request is resolved, then archived for up to 12 months for reference unless you ask us to delete them.

6. Your rights

EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland: You have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, and portability. You can withdraw consent anytime via your browser or by clearing site data — this resets the cookie banner to "denied". Contact us to exercise rights.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You can request to know, delete, or opt-out of sale/sharing (we do not sell). Use the contact below. We do not discriminate for exercising rights.

To exercise rights, email hello@calculatorst.com with subject "Privacy Request". We respond within 30 days.

7. Children’s privacy

Calculator Street is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. Ad personalization is not enabled for users we know are under 16 where required. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use HTTPS with HSTS (max-age=63072000; includeSubDomains; preload), strict CSP, and Cloudflare protections. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

9. Third-party links

Our calculators cite sources like TxDOT and CPSC with outbound links. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as laws or our practices change. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, show a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
